Initial room smelled a little like smoke and lady at front desk was apologetic and offered a room change with no hassle

The hygiene was poor, the sheets were stained and there was a lot of dust in the room.

Horrible Experience
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HotelsThis place was horrible. I get there, and the guy was nice enough. Check-in time was maybe 5 minutes. I get to the room and before I go in I notice a box fan in the hallway. No big deal, just odd. I get into the room and notice how dirty it is. Dirt on the walls, on the door (picture included). As day turns into night, I see the effects of the parking lights outside of my window (picture included) and how it was bright as day in the room. I got literally no sleep because of that light and the aforementioned box fan running all night. I wake up the next morning to take a shower, and see how there is black tape covering the shower wall (picture included), hoping theres no electrical behind it as I could have gotten a quick zap. I shower, get dressed, and head down to breakfast. There was only yogurt and dry cereal available (no milk). The waffle maker was broken, and although there were stations for other food, there was no food in them.
Overall this stay was horrible. I have never had such an unpleasant experience. I will not be staying in the hotel ever again, probably not in a Comfort Inn again, and maybe not even in a Choice Hotel again.

It was nice...satisfactory if you want a stay with no problems. They seemed to be renovating everything, as there were a few broken things, but if you stay out of their way, you should have a pleasant stay.

This is the second time it will happen, but the first time the bed bug was not ready... when we got to the room, we found a bed bug, it bit my wife's back... and they didn't want to change the room for us until after we show them the picture of the little animal and they agree to change it
