Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve.
Quite graciously, the on-site manager, Igor, was able to rectify the situation and compensated us with an evening apéritif. Thank you Igor.
As for the suite we booked in, it was both spacious and had beautiful views. Unfortunately however the Master Bedroom shower did not drain properly and the entire bathroom floor subsequently flooded (architectural issue and NOT a clogged drain); also, the children's upper Bunk Bed had a broken bed post fixture and my daughter nearly fell 2 metres to the floor. Lastly, the swimming pool was closed for 1-2 days during our stay (maintenance or cleaning), this was most unfortunate as it was during the height of summer 40 °C and it is my belief that this 'cleaning' or 'maintenance' of the pool could have been performed at a more opportune time for guests.
In summary, we have top marks for Igor who was very professional, personable and was even accessible during his day off - thank you for making our stay memorable and we feel secure in the knowledge that you will help to correct some of these issues mentioned above.

Fantastisk hotell, Club rom ikke verdt prisen.

Personalet i resepsjonen gjør sitt beste for at du skal få et flott opphold.
Vi hadde club rom med lounge tilgang, det er første gang jeg har opplevd at dette ikke gir tilgang på frokost. Vi måtte betale 88 RMB pr. person for å få frokost. Dette skulle hotellet ha informert om på forhånd.
Lounge har fantastiske lokaler, men maten var en liten skuffelse. God kvalitet, men lite utvalg.
Jeg bor gjerne her igjen, men bestiller vanlig rom med frokost neste gang. Det er ikke verdt å betale for club rom.

Amazing hotel, staff and the best view even when r
Publié le 17 sept. 2019 sur HotelsThe best hotel en China for the Luxury and the price, excelente servis, love the stylish clothes, location is amazing, even on the rain day it feels fantasy land, swimming pool is great as well,the whole Apartment has got amazing view, food is delicious, especially black bread, Meat made and cut in Front of you, Hot pot is well spicy so be prepared, We only used restaurante on the ground floor and there are 2 more restaurantes, well impressed
