酒店前台礼貌,地点也不错,门口有很多小吃,在居民小区附近,住宿环境也可以,虽然没有星级,但条件还不错!

Great location in North Xi'an

Pour : The breakfast buffet was included in the price of my stay. The food was fresh and delicious. Lots of different dishes to chose from.
Contre : There should be a email address here on Expedia to contact the hotel. Prior to my trip, I would have liked to contact them to confirm reservations.
Emplacement : There are lots of sightseeing options in the city, and also via high speed train. My favorites were the Terracotta Warriors, and Mt. Huashan.
I stayed three nights at the Cartiya Hotel. I arrived at 2:15 am and the staff greeted me warmly despite the late check in due to my flight delay. I called to let them know I would be arriving late, and they accommodated me with no issue. Every day the staff was there to assist me with directions to the sites I wanted to visit. They helped with getting me to and navigate the North Railway Station, the Metro system, and the bus system. I was able to see the Inner City Wall, the Big Goose Pagoda, the Terracotta Warriors, and Mt. Huashan in the two full days I was there. The staff went out of their way to use their telephone interpreter apps to translate information back and forth with me. I appreciate the effort that was made to help this non-Chinese speaking traveler. Whenever I needed a taxi, they called and had one waiting for me at the door. The managers and the front desk staff were all wonderful. I would gladly stay here again. The room was comfortable and roomy. I had a single room (interior) with no windows, which worked great because no sunlight to wake me up early, and no street noise from the traffic outside.

Booking issue

Contre : Expedia need to make sure that these hotels are affiliated before offering them as hotel options!!!
This hotel is not affiliated with Expedia. After an hour and going back and forth with the hotel staff they declined to accept my booking via Expedia. Not happy as we had made a bee line to the hotel after a 7 hr transit from Dengfeng. They wouldn't accept the discounted price I had paid and wanted me to pay the difference as they said I didn't pay enough. After that, they wanted me to pay for a new room. I stormed out and refused to stay there. The hotel is a 4.5 star and it is a flash hotel.
