wonderful location
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful, remote location in forested foothills. The house is simple, but more than adequate. There was internet, but it wasn't fast enough to support my work video conference calls.

Needed to get out of Portland!

Better than a hotel!

A cottage near outdoor adventures
Publié le 20 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe appreciated that this cottage had a great location to nearby Moulton and Lucia Falls Parks. We came to explore this area and took a picnic lunch with us as we hiked many trails.
We settled on the deck afterwards and enjoyed the sunshine and the music of the vocal birds.
This cottage met our needs, and I am still smiling at the "welcoming committee" of the two very friendly dogs who disappeared as quickly as they appeared and were never seen again!

Close to the Lewis River

Family get together

Nice view, quiet, but lacking in comfort and safety
Publié le 2 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThe view was lovely, the deck great, and a very nice setting. However, the stairs leading up to the house were not safe. The steps were uneven and there was a handrail only along a portion.
The oven didn't work, the coffee maker didn't work well, the bathroom was tiny and cramped, and the bed was hard as a rock.

The oven and coffee maker were thoroughly inspected and nothing was found wrong. Both are in working order.
We have several pictures of the exterior and interior along with detailed descriptions to allow guests to view the space before booking and make sure it meets their expectations,. We offer a safe, welcoming, comfortable, cottage in the country for all of our guests to enjoy and are grateful for the vast majority of our guests giving us the highest possible rating of 5 stars.

Rest and Relaxation

They even sent message when wifi was back up and running. Great location and perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will be back
