Clean, spacious property near the lake

We had a very positive experience at this property in Yankton. We did wish for one more bathroom for our group of five people, but we made it work, and the rest of the stay was great. The house has its quirks in layout, but it is VERY clean and well equipped, and the beds and bedding were all very comfortable (my husband and I slept on the king-size bed). The house was well equipped and had little extras like soap and flossers available. We contacted the host, Mariah, following our first night to ask for the air conditioning to be turned down just a few degrees, and she was immediately responsive and accommodating. The public spaces of the house (essentially one big room) are comfortable and decently furnished, and there are fun touches like indoor and outdoor games provided. Definitely recommend this property; we enjoyed our stay very much!

the property was clean, big living area and comfortable. the only draw back is the one bathroom, however it is manageable. we have stayed there several times and will stay again. the property owner/manager was easy to communicate with our needs.

Loved the location of the property! Very close by to EVERYTHING! Property was clean and comfortable. The owner is the property gave me lots of recommendations of places to go and it was really helpful. I would definitely stay again!

It was really nice to come back from the lake to a clean place with comfy beds and a hot shower. If we get back that way we would definitely stay again.

We did not stay and have requested a full refund. However we have not heard from owner/host . My wife is paraplegic with spina bifida tethered cord; she uses a power wheelchair for mobility. She also has a certified service dog. The owner was very late to reply and very rude. Basically she said my wife’s service dog was not permitted and that her home was not wheelchair accessible after we booked it. She was either unfriendly or non responsive. The listing says wheelchair accessible and ADA says service dogs cannot be denied. We will never book through VRBO again. We are praying we get our money back because we had to find alternative lodging that follows ADA and does not discriminate against persons with disabilities. Dan

This guest was offended that our rental has a No Pets policy despite this "NO PETS" being displayed on the listing. Furthermore, expected accommodations above and beyond what are rental offers. I was very transparent with him as to mobility and wheelchair accessibility within the rental as to avoid any surprises and he took offense to this. I try to be very thorough in communication to alleviate any surprises. There was no discrimination throughout any of our conversations. However Dan was very insulted and upset and offended that we could not accommodate all of his needs. We would suggest that Dan next time look for a listing that allows pets and is ADA compliant.
