Fantastic stay in the Adults only Reef wing! Plenty of pool lounges, quiet and serene, right on the beautiful reef to snorkel. The fish & sea-life were amazing! I got permission to fly my drone and shot some great footage of sunrise and sunset over the reef. The Twin room was a great size for myself and friend. The ground floor room was perfect to stroll out to the pool and reef and still felt private. Beds were also great size - king single each plus a 3 seater lounge made the room feel very spacious and sun bed on patio outside. Gym facilities is great for basic needs, hand weights, good range of machines with a reef view. Beautiful spa treatment at Chi spa. Food was pretty reasonable cost at the Italian and beach bar restaurants. Food from the adults only area was on point! Breakfast buffet at the AO restaurant was excellent with a wide range of food and egg stations. Staff were AMZING! So lovely ☺️

The staff are amazing and really do their best under the working conditions and environment surrounding them. The Leadership ( CEO and Executive Team) need to revisit budgeting and invest back into the Fiji Shangri-La resort. The photos are not a true reflection of what the resort looks like and need to overhaul the facilities. Power and generators should be at the top of the list as I did not come on holidays to have no electricity and not as a once off but ongoing.

For a 900fjd a night stay, the resort should have provided a variety of options for breakfast at least. The hotel surrounding wasn’t well kept. On new year’s night all they offered was a 198d buffet dinner, no fireworks or even a bonfire which wouldn’t have cost them anything! It was sad to see resort guests running out to catch fireworks from nearby villages. What a disappointment!

Great experience through out our stay but we were hit with a surprise bill at checkout as we were miscommunicated the wrong full board allowance and inclusions at check-in. But since we didn't have any proof we had to bear the cost even though we had paid for full board. Get everything in writing

Big resort with beautiful green space and beach. Staff were mostly friendly and the managers were really helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with nice views but had thin walls and one could hear even a sneeze from the next room. Pillows and mattresses seemed worn out. Although christmas time was not super busy, the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and missed few details every time about stuff. Overall, good for families but nothing amazing.

The property was very run down. The room we stayed in had poor lighting and doors didn’t close right. When we checked out they had charged us a few fees that was never explained to us. Overall very expensive for a run down property.

more cleanliness on entry ways, shower and ground has buildup. Indians are served at the end after Caucasians are served even today. This happens a lot with native fijian servers as they will just ignore Indians and we persoanlly experienced it.
