Hi, I made my reservation on hôtels.com, and completed my 5 nights stay. But it seems Hôtels.com reward has trouble to confirm my stay ?? Could you please provide me a copy of payement receipt of my stay? Thank you in advance! Happy New year!

Hi Nick, thanks for your review! We can definitely agree with the dated opinion. We are excited to be getting ready to change out flooring in all the rooms, continuing on with painting and upgrading TV's and furniture. We hope that you come back to see the changes throughout the hotel!

I had reserved two night stay months in advance. Upon checking was advised I had to change room for second night due to adjacent joining room booking. Unsure as to how this transpired, was not a welcome first impression at this property. That said, first room carpet was well used with stains. Second room had a newer carpet. Both rooms had in suite laundry which would be helpful for longer stays.

Hi Keith, I apologize that you had to move rooms when you booked in advance. I will be speaking to my team about this to ensure this doesn't happen to another guest as we typically only do room moves if it's pre-arranged before check-in. I apologize this was a negative start to your stay, but hope the rest of your time here was enjoyed. You are very right about the carpets- we are currently in the process of upgrading our rooms with new flooring, paint, furniture and TV's. We are hoping to have this complete by the end of next year, so I do hope you give us another chance to make things right. Thank you for your feed-back, and we hope to see you again! Danielle

The property is starting to show its age and needs things like carpets, beds and furniture changed. The housekeeping and front desk staff were wonderful- especially Sandeep one of the front desk agents. She was friendly, always had a smile and was masts willing to offer advice, provide directions and made suggestions. Hotels need more staff like her!

We are currently in the process of painting rooms and public areas, replacing flooring and working on getting new furniture in the new year. This property is 4-kilos from the Yellowknife Airport. A hospital across the street as well as a grocery store and within a short walk to other shopping. But the facility does have some downfalls that need correcting. Walls are thin and you hear everything, really everything.

Hi Dennis, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I'm sorry for the poor experience you had with the noise situation. If we are made aware of any loud guests and the situation doesn't improve, those guests will be asked to leave.I did move you and your wife to a different room and wing to try to ensure the rest of your stay was quieter, which I hope it was. We do have rooms that are non-adjoining if you are ever in the area again. I hope you were able to catch some of the northern lights and the rest of your time in Yellowknife was enjoyed! Danielle

Paid $417 for 2 nights. It is be ry dirty. Lots of stains on the carpet, had to wear shoes right outta bed. Little splatters on every wall. Also they had a maintenance man banging on every door at 9 in the morning

Hi Davis, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry your stay had these issues. The hotel carpets and paint are definitely showing their age and we are currently in the process of painting the public areas and will be moving into rooms after to start painting. The carpets are also in the process of being changed out and updated. I'm sorry you found spots on the walls, I have passed this on to Housekeeping to ensure this is being looked after. Regarding the Maintenance, I am not sure why that was happening so early and I'm sorry that it disturbed your stay. I will be looking into that so it hopefully is not something that happens again. I hope you give us another chance as we make more updates throughout the property to offer a better stay to all our guests. Danielle
