Tahlo Hillhouse is a well-equipped holiday villa on the shores of lake Näsijärvi, only 40 min drive from Tampere city center. Lakeside sauna is always included in the rental. Perfect choice for families and friends to enjoy the Finnish silence and nature.

From the large yard and big terrace of villa Tahlo Hillhouse opens the amazing view of lake Näsijärvi. The villa is well-equipped with a large kitchen and lounge areas.

At the main building are accommodations up to 16 people. Our accommodations include good quality Finnish beds, which we have made ready for your arrival.

100 meters from the main building stands the lakeside sauna Tahlo Underhill Beach & Sauna where you can experience an authentic Finnish sauna, handmade from the trees on the Tahlo estate, and enjoy the fresh country air on the terrace. There is also an integrated hot tub (palju) on the terrace, which is available to use for an additional fee.

Our beach is shallow and child-friendly. During summer seasons two people can stay in the sauna cabin on a pull out sofa-bed.

At Tahlo you can enjoy a family holiday, host (business) meetings or simply have a small break from duties and obligations. Our venue is also perfect for throwing parties such as weddings, birthdays, or graduations.
We have considered the needs that families with small children may have, and so we are a child-friendly accommodation.

You are also welcome to spend a nice getaway with a special someone or come spend a day of remote working in a unique location in Tahlo.

The accommodations at Tahlo Hillhouse always include:

- Two saunas: one at the main building, one at the lake

- Finnish quality beds for up to 14 people. If your party is larger than 14, we have two pull out sofa-beds available. We also supply our guests with towels, shampoo and soap. Please note that we always make the beds ready for our guests' arrival.

- A well-equipped kitchen with a set of dishes for 20 people

- Plenty of seatings, and when requested some extra tables for parties or meetings

- During summer season the gas grill and gas

- WiFi, Chromecast, a 65” TV with HDMI connections

- Free parking

- A crib when requested, a highchair and a potty

- The campfire spot at the beach, fire wood, a volleyball field and a 60 meter long sand beach, by the lakeside sauna there is only a outhouse

- Grounds for outdoor activities as well as a lean-to shelter (laavu) with a campfire spot located a few kilometers from the venue

- Swimming opportunities all year round and an ice hole during winter

- During your stay you have the possibility of recreational fishing on the 1200 hectare water area of Tahlo and Kulju


ADDITIONAL SERVICES

- A hot tub (palju) for 6 people, 150€ per night, 220€ per two nights, 250€ for a longer stay. The price includes one filling of the tub with lake water, firewood and cleaning the tub after your stay

- If your party would like to bathe in two hot tubs, our team would be happy to bring another hot tub to the beach for your pleasure for a fee of 150€

- Heating up the hot tub to an adequate temperature, 140€ per night per tub

- Changing the tub water, 69€ per change (please know that during winter seasons the water can not be changed independently by guests)

- Final cleaning 290€

- Additional guests + 25€ per person

- Adventures: air rifling and archery, a game of Tahlo Challenge for teams, and more! Ask for details.

- Rowing boats 29€ per boat per 24 hours. Additional days 10€ per boat per day.

Safety

All the rooms and spaces are cleaned and disinfected between guests by our staff. We are taking extra steps to make sure to clean and disinfect all surfaces, door handles and light switches, in addition to our regular and thorough cleaning. We are complying with THL’s (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare) rules and regulations about cleaning and we offer necessary hygiene items such as gloves for our customers to use as well. Thank you for understanding.

Other notes

We have neighbouring cabins, so we have agreed to comply with the ruling of the quiet time policy. We kindly ask our guests to respect the policy and conduct in a peaceful and silent manner at the beach and outdoors after 10pm, thank you!
