Avis Boutique Mountain Lodge, 4 cabins, 20 km South of Nelson

We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. We stayed here with two adults and our 5 year old and all had a great time. We will definitely come back and highly recommend. It's not for everyone, but if you like being a bit disconnected and enjoy being away from the crowds this place is great. Wifi works well but no TV which is what we wanted.

The cabin was absolutely perfect! We started the first leg of our vacation here and it exceeded our expectations. I loved it all - from the cozy bedrooms to the large porch where we spent lot of our time. My favourite part was hearing the stream from the trail behind the cabin. It was a serene 4 days. Paul was a lovely host and very responsive.
