Clean and affordable motel in Yoakam. Big room, comfortable beds, helpful and pleasant check in staff. A good deal.

I'm puzzled at the 9.0"wonderful" rating. It is true you get what you pay for but in all fairness, here is my review. First black mark was in the reservation itself. I selected pay at the property. They charged my card $17 immediately for their expense of having the advertising on the site. I emailed them and they are still "getting back" to me. It was definitely an undisclosed fee. The room itself is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable. The front door had a gap on the bottom half that you could clearly see the sidewalk thru. We put something in front to stop creatures from coming in. The floor in the bathroom next to the tub needs serious cleaning. Some touch up of white paint would have made it look better. The internet connection is not working, I even had the guy at the front desk come over and help connect which he was not successful at so I couldnt do any work. The phone in the room was not working, which he said he was going to tell the owner about. And the coffee pot did not work. The front desk persons were very nice and friendly. Over all the best I can give is a 7 rating, but again, you get what you pay for.
