Beautiful and relaxed setting just minutes from remote parking for the bus into York if you're interested. an easy drive to Haxby - which had everything we needed as far a shopping and restaurants. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice - all made for a perfect light supper when we arrived after a long day on the road. We were able to do some laundry. Enjoyed bird watching. Just a lovely stay overall and would definitely stay again

Gorgeous cottage with everything we needed!

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and the cottage was so peaceful but also handy for exploring York and the surrounding area. Communication from the owners was brilliant and whilst we didn’t need anything, it was nice to know they were near if we did. Thank you Guy and Tracey for a lovely stay, we would highly recommend the cottage for a short break away with your own space and lovely surroundings :-)

Fabulous cottage

Beautifully furnished and decorated. There was even a decorated Christmas tree in the lounge area which was lovely for our December stay..
The owners were were very friendly and helpful, and the “welcome pack” was so thoughtful - with a Christmas feel to the contents.
A wonderful place to stay.
