Très bien situé à courte distance de marche du centre de York. Chambre impeccable, très belle déco. Lit confortable , très propre. Petite déjeuner inclus très bon avec partie buffet et à la carte inclus . Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !

This was a quick stop delivering my daughter to university. The only negative comment, and it is quite a minor one, is that we had a twin room which also happened to be accessible. The wet room, which of course would be essential for anyone who is physically disabled, was great, apart from the fact the tiling on the floor hadn't been done properly so water pooled on the floor. Not much of a problem for me and my daughter, but I can see it being a slip hazard for some.

Service was attentive and professional - only had one problem with housekeeping where they somehow forgot that there was 3 of us and they only left 2 sets of towels! Considering the fact that I was charged specifically for an extra bed which turned out to be the sofabed already in the room! Don't get me wrong happy to have a separate "room" with the sofabed and TV although it could have done with it's own door

Great staff and hotel, but showering issues

Thought we would treat ourselves and stay in the deluxe room, as a bank holiday treat. Staff were amazing and room was super clean/comfy. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the double shower as the drain was blocked/ very slow draining. After 2 minutes of only having one shower head on, the whole tiled area was full and close to over flowing. A bit of a shame as that is one of the facilities we paid extra for and we couldn’t utilise properly. We couldn’t keep the main room lights on as the electrics made a high pitch squeal noise. We made do with the lamps in the room, but made it difficult at points. With some fixes room 208 is definitely worth the money, but not when you can use the facilities properly that you paid for! Would come and stay again, perhaps in the normal rooms.

Great hotel - 2nd stay!

We love this hotel, this is our second stay and now our go to hotel in York! The location is great and the service fantastic. Both occasions we have booked a premium room with breakfast and it definitely has not disappointed!
