The family who run this business are lovely, we were given a warm welcome and the service and cleanliness were second to non! The food was lovely and well presented too!

From the moment we arrived and were treated to tea and scones on the terrace our visit was a pure delight. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with every need catered for.
Dinner was superb as was breakfast the next morning. Throughout our visit there was always a member of staff on hand if needed and everyone was smiley and helpful.
It's a family run hotel and we felt like part of the family!

Old fashioned hospitality in a superb location with the most beautiful gardens. Amazing food and wine, best breakfast ever. We ate all our meals in the garden including the legendary warm scones- bliss. The hotel is in a gorgeous village and it backs straight onto the north York moors for easy walking. Loved it.

Pour : It was spotless and comfortable, The food was excellent and there was a lovely garden to explore and sit in. It is quiet and in beautiful surroundings
Contre : Nothing ; It was perfect for us ( elderly couple) Younger guests may find it too quiet or too far from entertainment
Emplacement : Beautiful Garden and country walks nearby. There is an adventure play park for older children. North York moors steam railway from nearby Pickering.
We were welcomed by the owners with afternoon tea. Everything was perfect for our needs and nothing was too much trouble for the very attentive staff
