Not met expectations
Publié le 5 juin 2021 sur HotelsOur stay was ok, the hotel is in a very good location. Checkin was chaotic, no information given regarding the stay or COVID safety measures, people going about without mask -we excepted better from a Radisson hotel.
Bedroom was small but ok, would need to be better cleaned as we found dead insects, mould in shower and wall and carpet stained beside the bed.
In the Covid world one can expect better cleaning and guidance.

My experience was marred by the poor lighting in the room not helped by the dark wall. The shower was also poorly designed and I didn't feel safe using it. There should be another grab rail to hold on to when under the showerhead. The view from our room was wonderful but we had paid extra for this.

Very good position from centre of York. Staff very Helpful. Really lovely room. Only downside, we were in Minster facing room 7th floor excellent views, but pubs across the river quite noisy. But overall excellent stay.
