Unfortunately due to family illness we was unable to stay this time.
But having stayed previously several times I can say the accommodation is lovely, clean well presented and within walking distance to the city centre
But due to the lack of parking and the poor communication from the accommodation we wont be using again but thank you as before this time we had always been 100% happy.
This was a very nice one bedroom flat that had everything we needed for our stay. Our flat was on the top floor and with heavy luggage it was a bit of a challenge but overall we enjoyed out stay very much and would recommend it to others that want to explore York.

Great apartment in a good location.
Excellent location, easy walk into town. The area is very quiet and the parking permit was a bonus.
Although the apartment is small, its ideal for couples and it has everything you need.
A suggestion for improvement, would be a shelf of some kind inside the shower cubical, as currently there isn't anywhere to put soap, shampoo etc.
We had a great time and would definitely book the apartment again.

Cosy, close to town, good communication.
Really handy apartment only a short walk from town shops and all the restaurants and sights etc. Really quiet area so good sleep after a long day of sight seeing.
Would definitely book again. Was tucked away and parking isn’t directly in front just incase anyone is confused when they arrive!

The property was amazing and equipped with everything we needed. Sadly the Wifi was not up to standards and left us feeling a little frustrated a lot of the time, especially when trying to watch movies that just wouldnt play.
This is a perfect apartment easily accommodating 4 adults in comfort. There were just the two of us so the two bedroom / 2 bathroom spacious layout was great. The apartment has panoramic views of the river at York. The underground (one) parking space is a bonus as we didn’t use our car at all in the four days and walked to all the attractions. Check in / arrival process easy and found the apartment equipped with milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, orange juice and a bottle of sparking wine. Very well equipped if you want to self cater but Tesco express is only 2 mins away on the main road. So many wonderful eateries in the area. Highly recommend obtaining the York Pass digitally to your phone, great value. The three day pass includes a meal at Ask Italian restaurant, which was plentiful and surprisingly good for a special offer deal. We will certainly look to book this property again and feel sure it meets all requirements for a great day in this wonderful city.

We had cause for complaint due to our original booking not being possible due to a leaking boiler. We were given different accommodation nearby on Priory Street, however, the bedrooms were in the basement and the beds were damp and the WiFi not working. On complaining the next day we were moved to our originally booked apartment (complete with fixed boiler) - the complaint was handled fairly, efficiently and resolved to our satisfaction. The apartment we stayed in on our second evening had everything we needed. Comfy bed, good shower great location just close enough to the town centre but just far enough away too. Smaller than they appear in the pictures but all the same we didn't need anything bigger. Unfortunate boiler issues spoiled our first evening - had it not then we would have enjoyed both of our nights stays.
The apartment was excellent. Skylights in the bedroom and bathroom for cooling, a pretty full stocked kitchen, including milk packets, tea, sugar and decaff coffee. Bed was comfortable, shower strong and hot and tv was fully loaded. Only complaints were a lack of salt and pepper and the aforementioned lack of caffeinated coffee. Highly recommended for a 1-2 person trip to York. Neighborhood was dead quiet being in the residential area, but only a 10 minute walk to the old town.
Perfect place to stay. Close to the centre, has got everything you need. Ideal for 2 people. You have the choice of walking into the local pubs and city centre or equally you could stay in the apartment. Extras are great sky tv fully equipped kitchen with washer if needed and a bottle of Prosecco is a nice touch and free parking a bonus Could be another difficult to find if never been to York. Would definitely stay there again.
Thank you so much for the wonderful apartment over the weekend. From the early check-in to the moment we had to leave on Sunday we felt comfortable and at home, and the the little bottle of champagne was such a lovely touch - something we wouldn't have got in a hotel or B&B. We made use fo the parking permit which made our trip so much easier being able to park near to the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, washing up liquid and cleaning products, all the kitchen essentials and towels / shower gel for the bathroom).
The room was comfortable and warm with adjustable heating controls so we could change this for our own comfort. The apartment was lovely and quiet as it's tucked away from the street however we had an issue with a pizza deliverer who couldn't find us so we missed out on dinner on the Friday.
We travel up to York regularly to visit my family and I'm really looking forward to booking with you again. Thanks so much for everything.
Comfy and spacious appartment nr 3. Perfect for a weekend in the fantastic city of York - where everyuthing is on walking distance. With the complementary parking permit, we could park right outside our door. Highly recommended.
Location was excellent but after booking for 5 room was only made up for 4. Cleanliness was ok but not brilliant and rooms were very worn. Despite that would definitely stay again as location and value were excellent.
We liked it well enough. On the plus side, the kitchen was well appointed and our hosts left a nice welcome gift. A minor complaint is that the beds were not so comfortable.
Fancy and modern, nice service with welcome gifts.
Newly renovated, fully equipped, free parking.
was not completely clean, for example the bathroom cabinet was stained, and the toothbrush holder was not cleaned
