Lovely place right in the Centre of town.. easy to get into and out of, parking right next to the place .. well presented and well maintained.

The poor girl at reception was all alone, and responsible for the restaurant, the bar and the hotel reception. I had to wait quite some time before she could attend to me. The room was a long walk away. I could not get the key in, so had to walk all the way back. The girl could not leave reception so the cook came - walk all the way back to the room. He was in a hurry. It wasn't working properly, so I had to walk all the way back to reception again, where I got the key to another room. It took 45 minutes from my arrival till I was in the room.
Things in the room were minimal, but ok. Unfortunately no table or chair for writing - which I needed.
Other than that all ok. The staff were nice, there just weren't enough of them.

This is country town accommodation. It is clean and comfortable and a good standard. York is a beautiful Western Australian historic town, neat, tidy, a safe environment with very friendly people, about 100km from Perth. Very relaxed.
