Easy self-check in after hours. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and inviting property with bright and spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Water pressure in shower was not great. Easy walking distance to train station and to town centre. Quiet location, even with rail tracks across the road.

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast choices were excellent and the cooked breakfast was very nice indeed. A few yards walk to the river Ouse at Scarborough Bridge and very close to the station. Only 10mins steady, scenic, walk alongside the river to the Centre of York, no need to use the car. Close enough to all attractions, yet away from noise, hustle and bustle. Some of the decor a little old, dated and would benefit from redecorating. However it was clean with comfy beds. The weather was very warm yet the heating in the main areas was on which as a little stuffy and had to open all windows wide in room, however I would not hesitate on booking in here again and would recommend to friends.

Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HotelsExcellent location, ten mins walk into the city walls. Room was clean and spacious (family room), one double and one single bed. Breakfast was good with the choice of cereals and fresh fruit followed by full English.

Great location 15 mins walk from York hospital. This was a second night stay at this B&B due to quiet location, breakfast and friendly staff.
Would highly recommend

Ideal location for walking into York centre. Comfy room and great breakfasts with very attentive staff; we particularly liked Queen Bee!
