Nevada City meets LA in Yosemite
Publié le 9 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect half way meeting point and the gathering was just perfect. The kitchen is so well equiiped we did lots of baking and cooking together. The sunsets are beautiful. Each room has a fireplace that is unique and incredibly built.

Exceptional Home for Spending Time in Yosemite!
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPeregrine Lodge is beautiful in every way, from it's location on the side of the mountain with multiple decks to it's cozy fireplaces and fully equipped lovely kitchen with outdoor grill. Vonnie was so kind and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for the week, including suggestions on the best locations for star gazing. We had a fabulous time!

Yosemite Vacation

Inside the gates of the park ,so we never sat in the 1 to 2 hour traffic to enter the park ! Everything was absolutely perfect from check-in ,cleanliness to being fully stocked with so many essentials ! But the best comment I can make is about Vonnie, the owner !! She was the sweetest,kindest person to talk to .She answered every time we called or texted .She gave us so many tips on what to do and see and even detailed directions to get there ! We loved our visit to Yosemite and Vonnie and her place made it one of the best vacations we've ever had !!

Wonderful family vacation in Yosemite National Park

Vonnie is a very thoughtful, gracious and very responsive host. We enjoyed meeting her! The lodge is great for families or multiple couples since every room has it's own bathroom. We loved the kitchen - the spaciousness and how well it is stocked....there was nothing Vonnie did not think of! The sunsets from the porch are incredible. The game room was enjoyable with pool table and tons of games, movies and books for adults and children! I could go on and on with how wonderful the lodge is and how we did not want to leave! We look forward to staying here again and hope to catch up with Vonnie too! Thank you for an incredible and memorable vacation!

A grand finale of a California tour
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe are so happy to have selected this home for our stay with our visiting relatives from Germany. We were a party of 7 (including two kids). The place worked perfectly for us all. After a trip from LA to Monterey to SF to Mendocino, this was the last stop and we really felt like it was the grand finale to a wonderful summer vacation for us all. The location was especially nice because of its proximity to the Yosemite attractions but far enough away to feel like a true getaway. We visited during a heat wave and the house location is a higher elevation from Yosemite Valley which also added to the comfort. I can't think of a single thing I would ask her to do differently. Thank you, Vonnie, for your warm welcome and superb communication. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay in Yosemite West
Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a family of six; grandpa, grandma, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren ages eight and four. Everyone loved the property. It was clean, well furnished, and very roomy. The cooks thought the kitchen was fabulous. The grandkids loved the pool table. Everyone was thrilled to see a mamma bear and her cub walk by one morning. It was great to be staying in the park. The location was convenient to the Central Valley, Mariposa Grove and Tuolumne Meadows. Everyone's favorite hike was the Two Bridges hike along the Lyell Fork in Tuolumne. We swam in the creek and the kids slid down a small waterfall.

Yosemite West

It was our first time to Yosemite so we couldn’t really appreciate the proximity to the Valley and other sites within the park until we were in our car driving to them each morning. We were so thankful to have booked with Vonnie! The home is the most well equipped, clean VRBO that we have stayed at. The sunsets and stargazing at night made for an even more magical vacation in Yosemite! Thank you Vonnie for sharing your home. We hope to visit again in the future!!

This is Heaven in Yosemite

Vonnie is a great host, always helpful and supportive and with many ideas what to do best in Yosemite. The house is a dream. It offers enough space and all the amenities you can imagine (including pool billiard). We can only recommend this very special place in Yosemite.

Great location! Great house!
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is located very conveniently. We were able to get to all the famous spots (falls, valley visitor center, sequoia trees, etc) within 30 min. The house is big with beautiful views of mountains. Also, kids loved seeing bears, deers, and chipmunks! The host Vonnie responded to all the messages promptly and was very helpful.

Thanks Hiromi. It was a pleasure to meet you on your last evening. Yes, the lodge being inside the gates of Yosemite National Park makes it so convenient to get to all of the must-see sites without having to wait every day in the long entrance lines. Plus you can leave the popular sites and come back to relax in this quiet and peaceful place.
