This Dreamy Property is for the romantic at heart, the nature lover, the fisherman, and mountain man & woman. You will also find plenty of restaurants, winery, and grocery within a 10 minute drive.

Light your Fire Pit and Dance on the Peninsula with your Wrap Around River. At night the Sky Filled Stars will enhance you, and by day the Sun Kissed River will delight you. The sounds of the flowing water and the sense of tranquility will heal the soul.

There is no mountain to climb up or down to get to the river. You can walk out the door on a flat path and straight into the river. The river is stocked regularly so you are likely to catch a fish. There is a full acre of flat land surrounding the home for the dogs and children to play. Look beyond the river to see and experience the mountain adventures.

If you are bringing a larger group you are invited to bring an RV and hook up to the RV Line in the yard at An Additional Fee. Please Ask About Pricing.

This river home offers 2 Bedrooms & 2 Baths. There is one bed & bath on each side of the house to offer privacy for two couples or a little space from the children. You will have a Living Room with Fireplace, a Kitchen & Dining area, a Sun Room with Fireplace, and a Deck on each side of the house facing the river view & sounds of flowing water.. Complete with Wifi and 4 internet smart TV's.


There is a lot of fun to be had at this cabin all on its own, but please venture into the surrounding wonders and enjoy the mountain activities. Don't forget the fabulous fun of Helen just 30 miles away.

Very clean inside. Upon arrival we had to blow off both outside decks. Fire wood was available at site. Construction is happening on the entrance road. Would have been a secluded site except for the amount of traffic on the road going around the house. Very comfy beds and all amenities. Enjoyed listening to the creek going around in back. Would stay again.

Great Cabin on Creek Close to Young Harris!!!
Stayed for 11 days in late Summer. The cabin was super clean, very comfortable and the grounds were amazing. The creek runs clear and cold (not too many fish in there this week). The back yard is amazing - especially for pets - and the cabin had everything I needed for an extended stay. Owners / manager was outstanding communicating and I would highly recommend. I'll stay again if the place is available!

Convenient to everything
If you are looking for convenience and cleanliness, this house has it. All of the amenities you could need. 15 minutes or less to multiple places…winery, tubing, grocery, quaint downtowns, antiques, etc. I was actually hoping for a little more solitude but it was OK. It’s a well travelled road so cars pass by often which is distracting from the otherwise peaceful and tranquil creek. Also, it’s a creek not a river. The property is beautiful and well kept. I highly recommend but it’s only fair to know it’s not secluded as some reviews imply.

Young Harris Cottage
The cottage was very nice. Very clean and comfortable. The landscaping needs to be improved especially in the back, it was mostly dirt with patches of grass and gravel. The creek was very nice but access was a little difficult. Steep hill with loose rocks. Needs some steps. The outside furniture needed cleaning badly. The area was great. Nice town and lakes. Great golf course. Had a good time

Relaxing
The cabin was fantastic very clean and very, very relaxing. We even caught some fish in the creek and enjoyed watching the family of ducks, swim up and down the creek. Everything you could want was there from the well stocked kitchen, the fire pit and the hot tub. We would definitely come back thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin.

Peace by the River!
Second stay. Just as good as the stay last year. Clean and well appointed. You can get lost in the babbling water, birds and breezes. We’ll be back next year!

No disappointment here!
This cabin was as warm and welcoming as it gets. Pet friendly without being too utilitarian and the host even provides a pooper scooper [there was plenty of room to walk Gracie]! There is a fully stocked kitchen and the refrigerator has an ice maker [several we have rented have not]. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. The hot tub was clean and relaxing and the outdoor area boasted plenty of seating. We especially enjoyed sitting next to the creek. Honestly, we have nothing but positive things to say! We definately will return.

Young Harris Cabin
This property was everything and more! The location (close to our son’s college) was easily accessible with plenty of parking, an amazing vista and well maintained. The creek along the property line is soothing, the fire pit is safe & welcoming, the home very comfortable, well stocked and nicely decorated and the sunroom the absolute best place for coffee and a book as the sun rose. Communications with owner was top notch and there were several special touches that made us feel welcomed, adding to the overall experience! Can’t wait to return!

Great place to relax!!
This was our second stay at this property. We enjoy the location and the property is clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook with including grilling tools. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of seating areas for the family to relax. Room outside for the dogs to run and play. We will book again.

Get away weekend
This was a great place to relax for the weekend. My wife and I took naps, watched tv, and got some good lunch and dinner. If it is hot, it would be a great spot to cool off in the river during the day and relax by the fire at night. The cabin isn't huge but the property is a good size with a nice river.

Great Cabin in Great Location
We had such a nice time at this cabin. We really liked the stream around the property and the privacy. The grill was great and the kitchen had everything you would need and worked great with no issues. The fireplaces were so nice and warmed up the cabin for the evenings. The roads were paved and very easy to access. This was a great location to be near other little towns in the area, as we explored a lot. Not much I can say to improve but if pressed, I would say some more comfortable recliners and a sofa in the living room but honestly everything was just fine for us. The communication from the owner was great and responsiveness was fast. We will differentially be back again. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Worked out perfectly
We were working at Young Harris College and this cabin worked perfectly. It is minutes from the college and is very comfortable. I wish we had more time to enjoy relaxing by the creek and enjoying the fire pit. The hot tub is wonderful with a great view of the stars in winter. The owner is easy to work with. We will be staying here again in January for another job at the college.

A constant struggle
May look like a Cabin in pics but in person looks like a double-wide trailer. Way overpriced for what you get. Poorly equipped kitchen lacking basic necessities. Had to run to Walmart to purchase napkins, a dishwashing sponge, measuring spoons, a potato masher, baking sheets, and a Teflon non-stick frying pan; all items that have been present in every cabin that we’ve ever rented, except for this one. The pots and pans are dated, and everything but water sticks to them; takes you hours to scrub them and clean them regardless of if you use butter, Pam, or oil to cook in them. Ended up having to scrub a dirty one left behind by another guest. While getting ready for bed on our first night there, my Wife went hysterical when she found human skid marks, poop stains, on the fitted sheet; ended up having to strip the bed and do laundry at midnight. The Jacuzzi is small, but nice, however, there are no oversized towels available, just the few tiny bath towels. Two door lock handles came completely off just from pulling on them to open the doors, a problem that we had to deal with our entire stay. Never used the fire pit because their idea of firewood are tree trunks that were wet and that take forever to burn, if you’re lucky. Front door lock works on a code, that we’re sure many others have, and an additional lock will definitely make guests feel safer. Owners are getting a lot of money for this rental, and should take a little bit of it and upgrade a few things.
