A Great Getaway
We had a great time at this apartment. It is out in the middle of farmland and quite beautiful. The apartment is nestled at the top of some barn stairs. When you open up the door, it is beautiful inside. We were so surprised! It was exactly what we needed for our Race that I was to run.

Wonderful upper level apartment that was exceedingly above our expectations. Very clean and comfortable, well supplied and spacious. Roadside sign helped with finding at night , and the motion light at the door was very helpful. We’ll definitely be looking for another stay.

Loved My Stay Here
I stayed here while visiting my mother at Ohio Living Lake Vista, but Mosquito Lake is very convenient. The VRBO is in a charming barn in the country and is the best-stocked place I have ever stayed; the snacks and the nightlight were extra special for me. The rooms are large, and I got a prompt response whenever I texted the owner. I will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay
I cannot begin to list all positive remarks about our stay at your Farm apartment. It was well cared for, attractive, clean, comfortable in every way. It was like being home, away from home. We have fished nearby Mosquito Lake for a number of years while staying in our camper. Since we no longer camp we felt very fortunate to have found your property which filled our needs so well. We were minutes from the lake, and stores. In the evenings, we sat together on the front porch and experienced the quietness we have not been able to duplicate since we fished in the bush of Ontario. It was indescribable. The quiet evenings on the front porch at the apt. was pure pleasure and relaxation. No vehicles, neighborhood noise of any kind. Just beautiful quiet piece! We loved every minute. Our host gets kudos for all her help. She was extremely helpful and made sure everything was tops. On top of all those pluses, we found a restaurant for ribs which turned out to be the best ribs we've ever eaten anywhere! So, we definitely had a great stay at your apartment on the farm, and the fishing wasn't bad either. I caught 2 5-6 lb. bass among all the others caught. They were my best catches since last fishing trip on Lake Fork in Texas. Thank you so much for a great stay in the quiet surroundings of the farm apt. It was a gem!! Looking forward to a possible return trip.

If you are stair friendly and looking for a clean, well maintained, affordable place to stay this is your place. We enjoyed our stay. Country setting. Long lane back to the facility. I will be staying again

The farm
About 25 minutes from the city of Warren. Truly on a farm. Very quiet. The hot water doesn’t work in the bathroom for some reason and Jeff, the owner, couldn’t figure out why.

Sweet countryside apartment
My husband and I stayed here to view the eclipse in April. Very clean upstairs space with lots of room. It’s out in the country but not far from gas stations, pubs, convenience stores etc. I loved cracking the window and listening to the frogs chirp at night. The house has two apartments but we didn’t hear anything from them or was disturbed by them at all. The water went out once but it was in the middle of the night and was back by morning for our check-out, and the host was very quick to respond to my text. So that might be something to keep in mind if you want lots of baths or something lol. Also if you’re a senior or have any trouble with stairs or balance the stairs may not do for you. But for us it was just what we needed.

A quiet location in Warren, OH
Our stay was pleasant and the unit has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is set on a farm off the main road and is very quiet. I will likely try to stay here again the next time I visit family in the area.

The place itself is so amazing and very spacious and very cute. Owners are very friendly and respond promptly. One of the best places I’ve stayed in. There was just nothing around the area for food or any of that plus kind of got stood up by a fake person and sort of drove 7 hours to waste my time. Other than that I really enjoyed the place itself and the owners.

Extended Stay
Our usual quarterly trip home that includes doctor visits and family time. This trip home found us spending most time at the hospital with both our parents. We then needed to extend our stay and worked with Jeff and his team. Thru many text messages and rebooking the rental thru VRBO we accomplished extending our stay. I did learn you are unable to extend your current reservation thru VRBO. The VRBO employees tried to help but were unsuccessful. Lydia and I communicated thru text messages. She was a tremendous help! Since I had to make a new reservation to extend our stay she credited me the cleaning fee. Greatly appreciated. We loved having the washer and dryer in the rent. We did unfortunately have some heating issues during our stay and they did their best to correct the situation. This rental in convenient for our trips home.

A little off the beaten path
I love this property! This is my 2nd stay here. This is a quiet and secluded place for a getaway anytime. The pictures are accurate to the apartment. The owners are available if you need something; however, do not intrude. It feels more remote than it really is - farm fields across the road. Be sure to follow the directions as posted by the owner because its easy to miss the driveway in the dark. Looking forward to my next visit to Warren, Ohio.

A swing and a miss
This review will be honest and as balanced as I can be. I do not write reviews regularly and do not enjoy writing a negative one. I hope this review will help someone here and maybe help improve the problems with this property. The day of check out, we were going to take a shower (like most people do). However, the property had other plans for us, which did not include a shower. Apparently, we exceeded our hot water allowance. There was NO hot water at all, not even warm water. If you like to take showers, this isn’t the place for you. I did reach out to the host that there was NO hot water but did not receive any response. We did the clean up as required but it was difficult with no hot or warm water avail. won't stay again POSITIVES: Clean unit. Full Kitchen. Newer washer/ Dryer. Air Conditioning. All appliances worked. WIFI internet works ok. Netflix included. Adequate space. Quiet, adequate indoor lighting, basic cookware, dishware, and utensils included. Good price, comfortable couch, and basic coffee maker/filters provided. NEGATIVES: No entry instructions or key for entry on arrival. Host ghosted us. Lack of communication and basic customer service. NO hot water. Warm water available for only one day. Noisy bed, lack of sleep. Hard to clean up and wash dishes with no hot or warm water. No sponge to wash dishes. Abundance of flies at entrance. Lack of outdoor lighting. Dishwasher with no dish washing detergent. Not enough towels/ washcloths for duration of stay.

Perfect spot!
The place was perfect for the two of us! Just as advertised. Clean and comfortable. It was a classic country setting that was quiet and relaxing. We had a motorcycle on a trailer and the owner was very accommodating to let us drop it at the apartment while we visited relatives in the area. We’ll definitely go back!

Lack of host communication
Property very nice, clean and in very good condition. Did not receive check-in information until about an hour after check in time. Was about to call vrbo. I called host twice (vm full), texted and left message on vrbo messages with absolutely no response. It wasn't until I was about to have vrbo contact host that I got info. Also I texted host that I was checking out (as requested by host) and someone showed up in less than 5 minutes as I was leaving but they did not seem interested in speaking to me. Other than lack of communication it was a very enjoyable stay.
