Beautiful desert home. Lots of amenities

Great Desert Escape

Bad

Hot tub dirty, was told we had to get propane and clean the hot tub and nothing about the leaking ceiling. Didn't fix the broken light/ switch in one bedroom. Them get some message about sheets needing replacing. Nope.

As a five star host with hundreds of glowing reviews on Airbnb, I’ve never had any one be as rude and difficult as this guest. Within his short stay he sent numerous emails complaining about anything he could.
He left the master bedroom sheets filled with blood stains without ever mentioning it to me. It was a health hazard for my cleaner and required a lot more thorough cleaning then should be expected. When asking him to pay for the sheets that had to be thrown out, he was furious.
As to all the items he complained about, he initially messages me saying that he was upset that the the previous guests left beverages in the fridge. Most guests would be pleased. “Lights” not working is truly ridiculous. The guest bedroom overhead light was temporarily not working but there were two additional lights in the room that offered plenty of light. The washer and dryer both worked perfectly.
On his last day there was severe rain and there was some me water leaking through the HVAC vent. He didn’t tell me about this while there. I had it fixed immediately as soon as I found out about the leak. It’s since had no problems.
One of the worst guests I’ve ever had, and I hope no host has to deal with his child like behavior. It was not worth the cost of hosting him.

Relaxing, enjoyable stay

Peaceful

The communication was thorough and thoughtful, as is everything in the house. The interior had everything we needed, including the kitchen - which made it easy to cook. I also really like the layout of the backyard and the hot tub was a very enjoyable feature. I’d be happy to stay again and highly recommend!

Great time in Yucca Valley
Publié le 10 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at Casa Carlyle. Such a comfortable home, great back yard, great location. Would be helpful to have a microwave for leftovers, but otherwise a wonderful property. Ghazal was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly.
