The room was large - king room (rm 2127),i liked the design, very open floor concept and everyone was essentially brand new. Can see under the bed, no blocky furniture. Rock climber design was cool. Stayed 0ct 27-29th.
Checked in close to midnight the first night of our stay. Sheet under covers had some dark stain as if it was brushed up against something dirty, decided just to lysol spratly it because we were tired. Saw a roach within the hr and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Didn't see anything else that night. Notified staff in the morning and they apologized and said they would let maintenance know.
Next day, left for the day at around 11amish, went to explore JTNP, had dinner, came back to hotel to rest before driving back out to JTNP for night photography. When we got back to our room at around 8:30pm, we found 5 roaches, all diff sizes, under 4 separate pairs of shoes that we had left on the floor. So disgusting. We stomped/killed them all and text the property to come clean it up. They came and swept/wiped the floor down, apologized, and offered to comp any snacks/drinks we wanted the following morning. Snacks...
They also asked if we wanted to get moved to a diff building/room/level. We declined because we had 1 hr to rest before leaving for the night, on our last night there. Staff said that we arrived on the day when the weather shifted to cold weather, and since we were on a floor level room, that the bugs were looking for a place to come and stay warm
