Publié le 30 déc. 2017 sur HotelsWas put into another property's bungalow as they’d over booked, they didn’t apologise and had to stay 2/5 nights. When I changed to Blue Earth my bungalow still wasn’t ready.
Very basic room. Bathroom was horrid. Taps were rusted and sink was leaking. The tap had an airlock making a noise so loud it woke me in the night. Scalding hot water coming from the cold tap. No water on my last night. Very dim lighting. Bungalows are semi attached so can hear neighbours.
Bungalows sideways on so even having the front bungalow didn’t benefit from a sea view terrace.
No WiFi in rooms.
Staff were unable to help arrange any trips or taxis.
Breakfast included but repetitive and coffee served in a picnic flask. Fruit and juice were fine.
The amenities list on hotels.com aren’t up to date. States daily housekeeping and AC etc but not all accurate, breakfast times wrong.
Positives were directly on beach front and quiet location away from roads. Few nice restaurants around.
Would prefer to stay elsewhere next time.

Bel bungalow sul mare..ma...
Publié le 14 déc. 2017 sur ExpediaMi sono trovata molto bene durante il mio soggiorno, la camera ampia, letto comodo a due passi dal mare ma forse rivedrei un attimo la pulizia. Per tutto il periodo passato in questo albergo (8 notti) non è mai passato nessuno per il cambio degli asciugamani e per la pulizia della stanza.

I wish we had stayed longer. The restaurant is fabulous, the scenery and quiet unforgettable. The people who work here really have your best interest at heart. Lovely people

Lovely Family Vacation
Publié le 18 août 2017 sur HotelsWe stayed at the Blue Earth for six days in August, 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are not perfect but are comfortable and most of them have a sea view.
The breakfast is very good with fresh fruits and juice, eggs and pancakes. The hotel restaurant also serves lunch and dinner for fair prices. Besides, there are several other restaurants around if you want something different.
The hotel staff is really friendly and helpful; they are always smiling and ready to help.
Be aware that they don't accept credit cards and there are no ATMs around, so make sure you get enough cash in Stone Town.
I would definitely go back and recommend the hotel to others.
