It is correct that the manager was not in the reception when you arrived since she was coming back from town, however, the other staff was there and the manager came shortly after your arrival, we apologize about this inconvenient. There is sometimes powercuts in zanzibar and since the water is running with a water pump that needs electricity, it means that when the power is off, there is no water.
