Very nice, clean and well maintained house and nice quiet neighborhood close to Heavenly

My husband, two sons and I came up for a few days of skiing. After having a bad experience at our last vrbo, it was such a wonderful surprise to come to this one. It was very clean. Everything was very well maintained as well. The sheets amd comforter were clean and well maintained. The kitchen had state of the art appliances and everything we could need. The furniture was comfortable and there were even lots of games, books and puzzles if one was inclined. The mgmt company - Vacasa- was very responsive and nice about any inquiries I had. The neighborhood was super quiet and friendly. My kids loved playing in the snow outside in the backyard. And best of all, Heavenly California ski resort was only 10 min away. Would definitely stay again!

Good location, not clean and manager unresponsive

The house was overall fine, but we had zero hot water after the first few hours (stayed 2 nights) and there was an AC unit / thermostat but it never worked. The bedding had several stains and overall did not feel very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. We also were automatically charged a pet fee even though we had no pets, and I tried contacting the property manager SEVERAL times to get this resolved and had to ultimately get them through VRBO to refund me the added fee. Also on VRBO the check out time was different than the check out time the property manager emailed us so we were very confused on our last morning. Overall probably wouldn't stay there again as there are better places to stay for the same cost.

Hello Courtney, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the homes in this area do not have air conditioning, the thermostat is for heat only. We are disappointed to hear the home was not up to our high standards of cleanliness and for the technical issues with the pet fee.
