Great private beach
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis rental had plenty of room for our family vacation. The property was not up to par from other properties we have stayed in. It was aged, dusty and in need of some modernizing and refreshing. There was no information binder in the unit so with every glitch we had, it was necessary to call. It accommodated us all well and we had a great family vacation. The private beach was the best amenity by far!

Needs some love
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is in a fabulous location. Love the fact we could walk to private beach. Lots of space. However, for the premium price we paid, it needs some attention. The house shows it is only there for profit. There is little pride of ownership. Needs a good spring clean - windows, blinds, cobwebs, doors, baseboards, decks. Handle from dresser came off in my cousins hand. Carpets are trip hazard and corners are turned up on every end. Baby gate on stairs is more of a hazard than help. It is difficult to get through as you try to go down stairs. Drop ceiling panel in spa area fell on one of the guests. Hinges on door from spa to deck are coming out and door scraps. You have to lift door to close it. bed skirt in downstairs bedroom needs be replaced. If owner doesn't want to make this place sparkle they need to charge less.

Beautiful Location and Comfy House
Publié le 8 août 2022 sur HomeAwayLove the Skyland community and access to the private beach. The house is large and accommodating. Some of the plugs/lamps didn't work but we were able to make it work for our needs. The spa was fun to have but it filled the house with a chlorine smell. Was better when you keep the door to that space closed. The screen doors are odd - only one side so I think some bugs got in but the kitchen, couches and deck were lovely. No hammock like the photos showed which disappointed one of our kids. Also would be nice to include a binder with restaurant suggestions, a map to the beach, WiFi info and instructions on how to access Netflix, etc. I missed the email that came while I was traveling that explained WiFi. Just seems like that info should have been displayed at the property. Regarding Netflix, we had to plug in our computer and screen mirror because I don't think the main TV offered it. Also wasn't a fan of checking in a distance away from the property. Would have been nice to have everything available upon arrival at the house but I understand contracts had to be signed. Owners definitely love dogs which is great. Loved all the dog-loving sayings. Sad about the rule of up to 3 dogs only 30 lbs each rather than 1 60 lb dog. We couldn't bring ours because of that which didn't make sense to me. Also frustrated that there was no flexibility for early check-in or late check-out but I understand management is limited by staffing conditions. Haven't decided if we will stay there again or not but it was nice for the 4 days we were there! Thank you.

Never never stay at this house. The balcony, electric outlets, jacuzzi are not safe to use.

House smell really bad, full of dog's hair, not clean at all, the electric outlets don't works in bathrooms and most of the area. The balcony is broken and beams are sagging down. Balcony railings were broken and not safe. Jacuzzi wont work and water never get warm. refrigerator ice maker never works. House smell like smell of sewer. I don't recommend no one use this house unless all these unsafe issues to be taking care with city permit and pass the inspections. Balcony off the kitchen and living room is very unsafe.

****HOT TUB DOES NOT WORK****
Publié le 24 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe primary reason for us to book this location was for the indoor hot tub. When we arrived, hot tub was cold 54 degrees. Spoke to property manager, they stated that hot tub had to be drained and cleaned prior to our arrival. Property manager also said it would take 6-8 hours to get warm with not further instructions. After 2 days, hot tub reached 60 degrees. This time of year in Tahoe is cold, so we purposely booked a location with a hot tub, my family and I were very disappointed.
