Lovely hotel with nice size rooms and a convenient restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was very good and the servers friendly.

A short but uphill walk from train station they have transport but it’s 5 Swiss francs a person but a doable walk with a carry on bag Breakfast was sumptious , quiet area but no t close to any restaurants but Zermatt is a small but beautiful town so everything is in walking distance

I had a reservation at this hotel but had to cancel because my wife became very ill with food poisoning. I fully understood the reservation was non-refundable, but given the situation, I asked Hotels.com to contact the hotel on my behalf to request a partial refund. To my surprise, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility or even attempt to negotiate, despite the circumstances being beyond our control. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to work with us was extremely disappointing. Next time I’m in Zermatt, I will definitely not be staying here. Very poor customer service.

Dear guest,Hotels.com called us the day of your arrival (18/08) at 8pm to ask for a refund. At this moment of the day, as you can imagine, it is impossible to re-sell the room if you cancel it. The online sales stops at 9pm for the same day.That is the reason why we refused the refund.Due to sickness, if your wife visited the doctor, you could see with your travel insurance in order to get refund. The travel insurance cover this kind of cancelation if you have an insurance.Kind regards,Olivier, hotel manager
