Sunshine for our souls. From the private property, to the staff. Each provided a relaxing get away from our chaos at home. Looking out over the property, and the ocean, while eating breakfast, was my favorite part of the day- and highly recommended. Staff was attentive, helpful, and kind, but not intrusive. They were patient with our language barriers. The bed was very comfortable, and room was restful, inviting, and met our needs. We felt safe during our stay. There is a narrow spiral stair case that was hard on my wife’s knees. We did use the front door at times, and walk around. It was not a barrier, and we were happy to just take it slow. The pool had no hand rail for entry or exit, and the step down into the pool was large — about 12 inches. It was also hard on her knees. In fairness, however, we never asked if there was a solution, because we found our own solution and were just very cautious. The pool was refreshing — and we enjoyed it several times a day, especially after dark or before bed. The iguana that greeted us at the pool was my wife’s favorite part of the day. For me it was mostly the staff that greeted us the first thing in the morning, and the breakfast they provided for a small fee. There is much to do and plenty of restaurants, all within easy walking distance. We discovered late in our stay that there were many more shops and the city within a few minutes cab ride (for less than 80 pesos one way). We will return.
