Very spacious and comfortable rooms in a quite garden environment. Still very good location close to the city centre.

Quiet, friendly place to stay with a lovely small restaurant patio. The staff was very helpful. VERY close to the National Archives, easy short walk to town.

This was a fairly nice and pretty place to stay within walking distance of much of the town, although you will want to be cautious walking down the hill through some street hawkers and would never do so after dark.
The staff was very excellent, friendly, and approachable. My only complaint, which led me to leave a night early, was that the WiFi went out for over a day and the owner was evidently unwilling to fix it and I needed WiFi for my work so I went elsewhere. This was not the staff's fault and they were apologetic and I think they tried to get the owner to buy more internet time but I gather she did not want to. So, similar to a previous review, the staff worked hard under a less than supportive and helpful owner.

Very clean and well equipped rooms. The service was super friendly and the kitchen very delicious.

Publié le 23 août 2023 sur HotelsTime for management to wake up. Pestering for extra payment when all amounts due aready paid. No system for checking condition of rooms, recording and fixing problems... in our case a sink unconnected to the waste, water went straight to the bathroom floor! That said great location with a large plot, the price is low and the staff are welcoming and do all they can to help.

Thank you for spending time with us at Manja Lodge. The reported sink problem was fixed. We have strengthened our inspectorate to ensure rooms are in good order before occupancy.The payment misunderstanding was noted. The request for extra payment was legitimate. You booked and paid for one room but on arrival you occupied two rooms. That's why extra payment was needed.Thank you for choosing to stay at picturesque Manja Lodge. Clean and quiet with a friendly, helpful staff. Very nice breakfast on the open air veranda. Beautiful vegetation abounds.
