Perfect location. Clean and safe area.

Good Place to Stay
Posted Jan. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayWe stayed for 8 nights at this homely chalet. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of space for our group of 5. The kitchen was well equipped [I would, however, have liked some mugs in addition to the cups provided]. The location was excellent being a short walk both to the bus, Jona railway station and to the Jona shops. Overall, a great place to stay on a visit to Rapperswil.

The chalet was well equipped. Slightly dated kitchen but everything was clean.
The one problem will be that a new road had been constructed with a roundabout and I believe there will be some buildings erected on the field nearby which will spoil the view.

Beautiful, quiet and cosy chalet in lovely Jona/Rapperswil - only 25 mins from Zurich. Very well-equipped place and Corinne and Alex were generous and gracious hosts. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Perfect In Between, Zurich and Mountains.
Posted Sep. 27, 2022 on HomeAwayThe location is ideal as it is quiet and right next to a massive lake. Train station is a quick walk if you want to head into Zurich. There is great parking if you rent a car, the mountains are a quick drive! We saw the local soccer (football) game at the stadium next to the property. It’s a huge house with a fireplace, patio, big kitchen, amazing views, and a ton of space. It was an amazing trip, plus the host is super helpful.

Posted Mar. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayDas Chalet ist prima eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts! Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, Handtücher und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Herrlich ist es bei Sonnenschein auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und sich die schneebedeckten Berggipfel anschauen zu können. Das Haus ist zu Fuß kaum 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof, Bäcker und Supermarkt entfernt. Top Lage. Man kann zu Fuß die Altstadt von Rapperswil erreichen, die einen Besuch wert ist. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbaren Chalet wirklich genossen! Ein großer Danke an unsere Gastgeber!

Gut für grosse Familien
Posted Dec. 30, 2022 on HomeAwayWir haben es als grosse Familie mit 8 Erwachsenen sehr genossen hier zusammenzukommen. Ein grosses Ecksofa mit genug Platz für alle, hätte es noch etwas gemütlicher gemacht.
