What you can expect

This tour from Florence to the mesmerising Cinque Terre National Park is a unforgettable day spent exploring one of Italy’s most breathtaking coastal regions. Unlike anything else you've ever seen, the Cinque Terre (5 lands) are situated perfectly on the coast and appear to be hanging from the cliffs. This paradise is even considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The first village of the day, is Riomaggiore, which dates back to the thirteenth century. Riomaggiore, famous for its historic charm and local wine is the perfect introduction to the Cinque Terre. Here you can admire the colourful houses resting against one another while strolling the narrow cobblestone streets.

In reaching Manarola by train, you will be greeted by a picturesque harbour with a small boat ramp and some of the most iconic views in the Cinque Terre.

Next is the ancient fishing village of Monterosso, known for its beautiful beaches and natural vegetation. Known as “The Pearl of the Cinque Terre,” this is the perfect town to relax on the beach and take a dip in the crystal water. Leaving Monterosso by boat, you will arrive in the quaint village of Vernazza built around a natural port! Be sure to bring comfortable shoes as well as swimwear for this full day exploration.
