This landscape, located mainly between the municipalities of Tequila, Amatitán, Arenal and El Valle de Tequila, encompasses vast expanses of blue agave fields, whose symmetrical patterns in shades of blue-green contrast with the mountains and the sky. Landscape features: Blue agave fields: Blue Weber var. tequilana agave plants are organised in perfectly aligned rows, creating a unique visual effect. These plants are the raw material for the production of tequila. Volcanic environment: Tequila volcano is a dominant presence on the horizon, and its mineral-rich volcanic soil brings distinctive characteristics to the agave grown in the region. We will also explore its architecture and traditions, biodiversity, culture and traditions.
