What you can expect

We have 250+ waterfalls around Brevard, so it can be hard to choose which ones to see on your visit, so will make it easy - We’ll visit three of the most beautiful falls along a 3.5 mile moderately challenging trail. There are some uphill sections, but the views are worth the climbs.

Here's our plan.

  1. You will meet your coffee hike guide at The Hooker Falls parking area in DuPont State Forest, and hike to Hooker Falls. Here we'll break for a hands-on class where you will brew coffee alongside your guide (you'll to filter water straight from the falls and tips for brewing the perfect French Press). Then you'll share great coffee and conversation together before continuing your hike.

  2. We'll head to Triple Falls next. There is a new route to triple falls after damages from hurricane Helene, but you are still able to see triple falls from a different trail.

  3. After some pictures of Triple Falls, we'll keep hiking on to High Falls, a stunning end to our adventure.

We also provide light pastries with our coffee and we bring a selection of teas and hot cocoa in case coffee is not your favourite.

FAQ:

Are dogs allowed?

Pups on leash are welcome. This hike is very popular with dog-owners, so we will likely pass many other pups, so if your dog is reactive to other dogs this may not be the best hike for them.

Are there bathrooms available along the hike?

There is a very clean, well-maintained bathroom building at the meeting point before the hike. Then we do a short 0.5 mile hike to the place we make coffee together, and then hike the half mile back to the same restoom building before continuing the hike so there are We're drinking coffee outside, so we make sure we have frequent bathroom break opportunities.

How difficult is this hike?
We have hikers of all levels enjoy this hike - we hike at a comfortable pace with multiple breaks along the way. We also can find always shorten the hike if you and your guide decide the distance or terrain is above your comfort level. We always make sure you have a great morning outside - even if that's different than our usual route. It is 3.5 miles return with a few steep uphill sections, but as long as you are comfortable walking on gravel terrain (feel free to bring hiking poles but not required) you will enjoy this hike.
