Overview

Ice Fishing in comfort! Guests will learn about traditional ice fishing methods and lore, then will participate in a net pull. Guest will also learn how the net is set. Guest will see a live fish fillet then the chef will cook a delicious fish fry lunch right on top of the ice. Guest will also have opportunity to try out snowshoeing.

Individual guest can choose to upgrade the experience to include jig fishing on their own inside a warm cabin.

Activity itinerary

Guest will be picked up from hotels in Yellowknife and embark on a Ice Fishing Trip. Itineraries include a quick sleigh ride to the ice fishing site. Guest will be shown how holes are drilled on the ice, taught how to jig ice fishing, and will enjoy an unique ice fishing experience inside a warm tent. Fresh Fish Fry Lunch.
