What you can expect

The tour starts at Praça do Comércio and heads towards Alfama along some of the city’s oldest and narrowest streets. Wander past local bars and restaurants, and feel the vibrant culture of Lisbon all around you as you stop by the Casa dos Bicos, Sé Cathedral, and Igreja de Santo Antonio.

Next, walk towards the Portas do Sol viewpoint and admire the stunning views while you soak up the glorious Lisbon sunshine. Visit São Jorge Castle next and learn about the rich history of the city as you listen to your guide share stories, tales and anecdotes about the region. After the castle, walk down to the Baixa area to visit Augusta street, Rossio Square, São Domingos Church and the Jewish Memorial.

Time to visit the Casa do Alentejo, the Restauradores Square, and Rossio Station next, before heading onto Carmo Square to see the National Guard Museum and the stunning Carmo Church. Nearing the end of the tour, visit the Santa Justa Lift and the São Pedro de Alcantara view point to marvel at the breathtaking landscapes that surround you and enjoy some time to take some photos. The final leg of the tour takes you towards Bairro Alto and the Bohemian neighbourhood before finishing up at Praça Camões.
