The thermal springs or Bath Springs, close by was believed to have medicinal properties and was visited by those seeking its healing properties and enjoyment of its luxurious warmth. Your guide will stop for approximately 30 minutes for you to quickly experience the healing water and take pictures and view the site of these springs. Temperatures can reach up to 170℉. Next door is the historic structure of the former Bath Hotel, now government offices still stands majestically and reflects how this structure was the most prominent structure on the island during the 1700’s.

The church graveyard holds many persons including Thomas Cottle the founder of The Cottle Church in 1822 which was the only church where slaves and their plantation owners could worship together. There is also a vault the holds the remains of John Huggins (1763 -1821) the developer of the Bath Hotel. This church has history, and it can be seen as you walk around reading the plaques and inscriptions within.
