Really enjoy the trip but confusing when queue for the boat, whether we needed to get physical tickets and the woman kept shouting for us to “make the line” everyone was in a line and didn’t really understand what she wanted. Once on the boat everything was perfect and no trouble getting back. Plenty of time in Monaco.

Disapointing we were expecting a Little information and aleast expecting to arrive in the main harbour, but no we have to walk into the centre and we dont Get to experience Monaco from the sea!!

Nice boat, but rather expensive for what you get. They drop you at the closest (of four)port in Monaco, which is a good 30 min walk to the centre. The scenic route back is just them telling you who lives in certain very expensive houses which you go past. Basically an MTV Cribs on water.

I managed to find the meeting point after asking around the port when I got there with 20 minutes to departure their was a really long queue... I took a seat down stairs as upstairs was full to capacity.. The trip was okay.. The veiw was from the open side of the boat.. Or through the windows. If you dont make it upstairs or at the open deck front then the veiws are not as good.. The whole point was to experience the veiws along the way.... So basically it turned out to be an expensive taxi.. But I met some nice people on board so that was a plus... And it is still better than the train crossing which is like a cattle market and not good.. Especially on a hot day... So getting their super early is the name of the game and grab your spot and enjoy the beautiful crossing.... The return journey was similar.. But the boat stops to highlight certain celebrity homes along the way.. The crossing is about 30 minutes from Nice - Monaco... And docks in Fontiville and not the port hercules.

The trip was good. I wish they would have taken us on the "tour" in the morning before they dropped us off in Monaco. They did it on the return trip to Nice. By then we were warm and tired and felt more disinterested in what they had to tell us.
