Know before you book

  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult: minimum age 10 years
  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
  • A maximum of 4 people per booking: larger numbers can be accommodated but will be separated into groups not exceeding 4 persons per instructor
  • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor.
  • Subject to favourable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date

Activity itinerary

A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver. Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Mykonos diving centre offers this programme in pristine water on our beautiful home reef on the beach, and you have the option to do an additional dive from our boat after you successfully complete the programme. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
