The experience begins with pickup from your hotel and heads to the trek’s starting point in Nayapul. Get kitted out with all the necessary equipment while your permits are checked then set out along the Modi Khola River, passing through several small villages on the way. Cross over the river to reach the village of Jhinu Danda, before arriving at your accommodation for the night, a quaint tea lodge.
Day two starts with an uphill trek to Chhomrong, one of the largest villages along the route. Continue the walk through a dense forest landscape to reach your accommodation for the second night. Enjoy a leisurely trek to Deurali on day three, stopping for lunch against the backdrop of the stunning Himalayas. On day four, follow the trail across several streams towards the Machhapuchhare Base Camp, then hike to Ablation Valley. Follow your guide through the valley, which is a hollow corridor between the glacier and the mountain, then cross over the hills to reach Annapurna Base Camp where you’ll spend the night.
On day five, hike through the only way out of Annapurna Sanctuary towards Bamboo. Bamboo is 1,600 m lower than Annapurna Base Camp, so you should expect a hard day on your knees. After a restful night’s sleep, continue your hike down the valley on day six, soaking up panoramic views as you descend to Chomrong and then Jhinu. Arrive at Jhinu and enjoy a well-deserved rest in one of the hot spring baths. Wake up on the final day to a short morning trek, passing by the quaint farmland that surrounds the river. At the end of an unforgettable seven-day trek, arrive back in Nayapul for your drop-off to Pakhora.
