Salinas de Rio Maior

Bring a visit to Salinas where salt is mined from a prehistorical underground river at Rio Maior. On a Sunday this is a great option to combine with the Santana Gypsy market and/or the fruit market in Caldas da Rainha.
Obidos

The first stop we make is at Obidos. This medieval village with its characteristic city wall, typical blue walls and flowers is known as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal. A great place to taste the Ginga and/or chocolate with cosy gift shops.
Nazare

Visit the lower village of Nazaré for its great view and shop's or go to Sitio to visit the Surf museum or see the giant waves (up to 100 feet) for yourself. Also here the amount of time to spend can be decided by yourself since this is a private customisable tour.
Monastery of Alcobaca

In Alcobaça The Monastery of Santa Maria d'Alcobaça from 1152 can be visited and learn about Portugals greatest love storey. Pedro and Inez, known as the dead queen. Also the old wine museum is worth a visit.

Tomar

It is also an option to visit the village of Tomar to see the templars castle and it's surroundings. Ask us upfront for the options for places to visit since not all can be done in one day. On request we also can enlarge the tour and/or help you to find accommodation for another day of touring.
