National Museum, located at the base of Swayambhu, a sacred hill in the Kathmandu Valley, is the first Nepalese museum with primary function to preserve and exhibit rare and valuable art treasures.
Itinerary
We travel to Swyambhunath by foot early in the morning located at the top of a hill that will give you the most spectacular panoramic view of the entire Kathmandu Valley.
After that we visit The National Museum, with ancient weapons and animal specimens. Here, you can get a taste of the Nepalese culture as well as wars fought in Nepal.
