Come join us aboard the spacious and luxurious Alii Nui sailing catamaran to observe the playful habits of Maui's most consistent return visitor - the humpback whale. The waters off West Maui have long been the favoured holiday spot of these massive marine mammals. The Alii Nui provides plenty of areas to enjoy the “show” from our spacious, shaded cabin or deck areas. A Marine naturalist is always onboard with facts about these gentle giants. A hydrophone will allow you to listen to the amazing songs the humpback whales sing; Maui's best “Whale Karaoke.” Enjoy a buffet of gourmet hot and cold starters along with a variety of wines, beers, and liquors from our open bar while anxiously awaiting a glorious whale breach!
The full, open premium bar includes Gin, Vodka, Tequila, Whisky & Rum along with a select Scotch, Sparkling Wine & Cordials. Red & White Wine, local micro brewed beer by Maui Brewing Company and Domestic Beer. Non-Alcoholic drinks include coffee, tropical juices, soft drinks & Alii Nui's own homemade ginger ale.
Our whale watch will run seven days a week from mid-December until the whales go home by April.
