My stay at RIU Palace Costa Mujeres was absolutely amazing. The resort itself was stunning, with breathtaking views and luxurious accommodations. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from the staff, especially Samara, Diego, Alexis, Gonzales, and Casanova. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our vacation extra special. They made accommodations for our daughter's birthday celebration, with personalized decorations in our room and a surprise birthday cake. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests was truly remarkable. Throughout our stay, the staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Our stay was excellent. The staff were very vigilant for our needs and kept the entire property spotless at all times. Getting into the restaurants was easy. The staff went the extra mile to help us celebrate my daughter’s 5th birthday and even gave her gifts! The entertainment at night could use improvement . They have set times for the performances, but my advice is for them to keep the guests entertained between performances as well. At night, the hallways can be a little noisy with people closing their room doors. I think installing door sound barriers of some sort would help elevate the noise. The kids Ruiland lounge room needs updates and is better suited for kids under age 3. We reallyl enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

First time for my wife and I at an All-Inclusive resort. Firstly, the resort itself is beautiful. Short walk to the beach, simple to navigate, wonderful attentive staff, clean, well maintained, comfortable, HUGE rooms. Food can be both incredible and bland. Restaurant options did not seem worth the visit as the food seemingly always came out cold and after a long wait. Buffet is quick and has a VAST variety of options, there is plenty to try and always something good to find. The chicken and salmon options were always stellar and most of the seafood really was great. Breakfast also was all-around delicious across the board. Try all the juices available as well. There is a cappuccino bar open all day as well for a nice quick coffee drink. Numerous pools and neighboring resort pools also available and easily accessible. We were always able to find an open chair both at the beach and at the pools. Warm water. The spa may not have been worth the extra visit. My wife got her nails done and the woman attending to her was rude about the previous nails she had on. Her new spa nails have also chipped away or fallen off completely not even 5 days after getting them done. The massage was nice but nothing special and not worth the price. The drink service was also wonderful, waiters on the beach and at the pool taking your requests and bringing you drinks in 10 minutes time. Drinks were not always great but there is a variety to try and you should find something.

I have been in Riu Tequila before and it was awful. I heard many times that Riu Palace is always the best and I booked it for me ,my husband and 2 adult kids.Resort is located 45 min away from Cancun and don’t count on advertisements from them that they will pick you up or take you back to the airport. I was upset since it turns out this option is only when you book directly through Riu even do they do advertise it in their room details without disclosing it clearly. Book your3rd party transportation or you will be left alone. Resort is located at beautiful beach where you can take long walks and get the best drink service by Ray who is super nice . Entire resort is super clean and food is pretty good at the buffet and Mexican restaurant. Long wait for steak house or Krystal so we didn’t tried it . Japan was so so and I don’t like Italian so we didn’t try it. All servers are super nice and moving quickly, however sad part is what we heard from some of them at the breakfast that they get paid so little for such of great service so shame on the owner to pay $15 a day. Another problem was I couldn’t book 2 different rooms on Wxpedia so I end up paying for 2 rooms with King beds,however since our adult kids were going with us (m & f ) I called them and ask them if one room could have 2 beds. I have been told that it’s based on availability. They give us 2 rooms with 2 beds so I had to sleep separate from my husband and our room was facing noisy construction not garden. Awful!!!
