"This place is wonderful! Remember to stamp your feet when you first walk in the Sea to let the baby rays who hang there know you are coming so they will vamoose! Bring our own snorkel gear, we got travel snorkel sets from Amazon for only $30 that were perfect. The Yoga and evening Meditations and Sound Healings were amazing. It is a superlative Yoga Space. It has everything a yogi or yogini needs! The music after dinner in the beautiful opne air lobby was fun if you felt like staying up after dinner, there is room for dancing. The staff are fabulous! "

"You absolutely need a car for this property but we were expecting that. The area is nice and quite and safe, but yes it is a bit removed from anything you can walk to. While it is advertised as having access to the Bahia Principe resorts for pool and beach use, that is no longer true (apparently this changed recently). You can buy a day pass to the hotels for a slightly discounted rate at the Country Club office (not the residence offices right next to the property which is only for building and complex related questions - but the country club office which is a short drive or a 10 min walk away from the condo) day passes range from 60 - 80 per person, per day. The condo itself was fine. The view from the upstairs patio is tree tops and sky, which was nice. The main bedroom has great windows and a nice bathroom with lots of storage space. The second bedroom has its own entrance, like a separate apartment, so not suitable for younger kids that need to be within yelling distance, but fine for a teenager that likes to have space. The plunge pool on the patio is just that, not a jacuzzi but rather a cold plunge. The house was missing some small details, like a soap dish in the main bathroom and hand towels in the kitchen and small bathroom, but the caretaker was able to get us some extra towels for that. The toilet paper holder in the main room had fallen off the wall - I think just due to humidity - and the main bedroom safe was locked shut. "

"Its truly the best location in all of Akumal/Half Moon Bay. It's has the easiest access to Akumal Beach, just short walk on the ocean side around the bend. You'll hear the waves all day. Have a perfect pool on the shady side of the property. 4 ocean view suites with a/c.The absolute best part of this Villa are the staff Andrea and Armando.They make your stay effortlessly perfect. Their kindness, attentiveness, and overall care take the experience to a whole different level.I'd highly recommend having them prepare meals and truly expperience an emersive Mexican vacation with flavors of their culture. This is our families 2nd stay and we are already booked for next year as well. I offered to book at Akumal Bay Spa and Wellness, which is also amazing. All 6 I asked, preferred the Villa for privacy, the onsite staff, and the overall experience.I highly recommend this Villa as long as the staff... Andrea and Armando continue to be onsite, as they truly take your stay to the next level."

"Loved our stay here. This is our 4th visit to Akumal and my favorite condo so far. Location was great because it was a ten minute walk La Buena Vida and Turtle Bay Cafe. Owner was super great to work with. Plenty of space for everyone. I think there were only 8 units here, so not crowded and lots of privacy. Would definitely stay again."
