The hotel itself was nice, very clean, and extremely convenient. Our room (room 2) was on the second floor and faced a busy street, which was extremely noisy throughout the night. We managed to get very little to no sleep.

An excellent hotel at a resonable price, within a short walking distance of the attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is very clean. My room was small, but had all i needed with a great en suite with hot water at all times of the day. This is Amsterdam and there is no lift but the staff were very good and took my suitcase upstairs for me and bought it down, plus kept it safe until i left. The food is excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! The location is great- right off the Dam Square. The only negative is the lack of an elevator so that means you have to carry luggage up the stairs…but one very kind gentleman that works there was amazing and helped carry up our luggage.

Construction on the road in front made the entire area very dirty and litter strewn, very unlike Amsterdam. We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs are very steep. The water pressure in the shower was weak, very hard to take a decent shower. The area can be fairly noisy late at night.

The lovely Corner House Hotel
We had the best time in Amsterdam! The Corner House Hotel was perfect in every way. Friendly, helpful and happy staff. Clean and comfy rooms. Ideal location. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved the staff at this hotel, they were very accommodating. Only issue is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up with your luggage. Everything else was very good!

The most quaint Hotel / Eatery I've come across and great value for money. Could not flaw it in anyway baring the stairs up to the rooms, myself I had no issues but they are quite a steep set of stairs all the way up to the 4th floor so if you struggle with steep steps then I maybe would avoid this properties Hotel facilities but definitely check out the Restaurant/Bar if youre passing by.

This is a basic small hotel in an excellent location. The windows are only single glased and facing a busy road near all the nightlife, our room was very noisy. Also clear to all when the occupants above were in their room. It was clean and friendly and the location excellent.

Perfect location and great value, the staff was very helpful, and the restaurant on the first floor had great food!

Tiny, noise room. Felt claustrophobic. No heat in the middle of winter. Ended up catching a cold after three nights here in December. Also, water doesn’t drain well. Overall not worth it.

No complaints for the room itself. Great location. Nice and quiet room. Check-in took 2 hours because they gave my room to someone else with the same last name. As an FYI there is no lobby, check-in is a computer in the restaurant. If they had my room ready I would have been happy for the price.
