This hotel is a hidden treasure. It’s a very short walk from the bus or train station, so super convenient location. Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable and we heard no noise from outside despite being close to the train station. Definitely recommend.

We liked how convenient it was to take a train out of Sloterdijk station, which is a short walk from the hotel. It’s one station away from Centraal. The location also meant that we heard trains operating all night. The rental bike could use maintenance. We really enjoyed the other facilities including gym, terrace, and kitchenette. It saved us a lot of money to prepare small meals in the hotel. There’s a convenience store located nearby that’s open very late.

Hotel DO NOT Stay
Firstly, I just want to say that the people in the Netherlands are so kind and welcoming. We had an amazing time in the country. However, this hotel has some of the worst policies and some of the staff were very rude. For example, my best friend who traveled with us changed his hotel due to limited room availability and was not allowed to even visit us in our room for 1 hour or even wait for us in the hotel lobby. We had many events planned in Amsterdam and this hotel was a convenient meeting point for us to take the nearby train. Also, they told my own wife she could not go into the hotel room, who was also a registered guest and threatened to call security. Come to find they were looking at the wrong reservation. We have traveled to many countries in the world and have never heard of such absurd rules and policies. I would not recommend anyone staying here.

Great location and mostly great room, the shower water pressure wasn’t great and the hot water was intermittent. The cleaner also accidently walked in the rooms despite there being a sign on the door. But overall i enjoyed the stay and would recommend. The deposit was returned quickly as well which is great. The location is also really convenient, so close to the station but still so quiet

Quick little trip
Hotel was conveniently located near the train station. It was a bit far to the city Center on foot (an hour walk) but the bikes they rented were very convenient. The bus and trains also pass very frequently to get you around.

Hotel2Stay was one of the best stays I’ve had in Europe. Not only was it in our price range, but it was close to the subway (five minute walk) and trams (right out the front door). We parked in the basement parkade for the days we had a vehicle, which was clean, easy to access and safe. Lots of spaces. The room had a kitchen, which meant I could pick up something from the nearby convenience store (five minute walk) and heat it up in the microwave or in a pot on the stovetop. The fridge held salads and fruit and it was easy to make tea. Best of all, there was a DISHWASHER!! This saved us a lot on restaurants and made it easy for me to manage my various food allergies. We also used the hotel’s laundry facilities, so we were able to freshen up during our two week stay. I told myself I would use the gym, but I didn’t. If I’d wanted to I could have kept up with my cardio and enjoyed the big windows in the gym while doing it. And the last part was unexpected… the room design and the entire hotel design is very contemporary and stylish. I’ve stayed in a lot of generic hotel rooms and that’s fine – it doesn’t impact my stay. But this felt a bit more luxurious than the price point would have suggested. Nothing but good comments. Would stay again.
