"Definitely recommend this bed and breakfast 10 out of 10 , could not fault anything we had a lovely time kevin and tracey also let us leave our bags after checking out as we had later train . This is my second visit and will come back many thanks from Elaine and Jenny "

"High Ridge is perfectly situated right in the middle of Ambleside. However, it really does need some TLC. There are damp patches on the walls , the bed linen is rather questionable, & the window blinds are just simply dreadful . They let light in, don’t work properly & are very tatty indeed. The furnishings are of poor quality & there are just far too many dreadful pictures on the walls. The kitchen & bathroom are good but the rest of the property needs a jolly good face lift . Having said all of that it was okay & it’s saving grace was the location. "
