Reception Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff is not friendly and accommodating. Food choice is very simple and plain. Small bathroom and room. Didn’t get any upgrades even VIP holder. Need to remind the free wine to the staff to give to us.

The Arion: Monastiraki—the heart of Athens
The Monastiraki area looks like hell but is actually the best area to stay in Athens. The Arion is right in the heart of this vibrant, colorful and varied place.

Excellent location
The location is excellent, close to everything. The room is also very clean and bright. The air con works well - this is esp important in hot summer. But it's a bit pricy for a 3-star hotel.

Great hotel, prefect location.
Rated as 3 star but it is high end of it. Very nice and classy hotel, very clean. Front desk was very helpful. There was no coffee machine in the room but they provided a kettle. Roof top view at night is amazing. unfortunately we didn't get a room with a balcony. Plaka is walking distance and nice and safe to walk around around 10pm. Lots of eating area arouind this hotel. Roads are very narrow so taxi's may not able to come to the hotel all the time, but only small walk

Great choice and value
This is wonderful 3 star hotel in the best location just outside of the Plaka area. It was quiet as across from a church - our room faced the street. A decent breakfast is included and just a block from a busier square with many good restaurants. The room was clean & big enough for our 3 day stay and the bed was comfortable.

Very convenient location, restaurants within steps from the hotel. You can easily walk to most famous attractions in Athens. Metro/subway to/from airport is an easy walk (max. 10 minutes). And the front desk people are very friendly and courteous.

Overall excellent hotel. Convenient, clean room,OK bed and shower. Nice balcony with views of psirri, Plaka to the south, and lycattus hill to the east. Easy parking in the area.
