Kaleido House: king bed, close to Springs/Park

The two bedroom/one bathroom “Kaleido House” is the largest unit in the Zilker Vacations family. It features by far the most original art and colorful decor to go along with the spacious tall ceilings.

The Kaleido House is located just .44 miles to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, the perfect location to enjoy everything that Austin has to offer. There is easy walking access to many of Austin’s famous restaurants as well as the outdoor paradise that is Zilker Park. Take a dip in the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs after enjoying a hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt or a stroll around Lady Bird Lake. After a day outdoors, you’re only a short way back!

The vaulted beamed knotty pine wood ceilings make the over 1000 square feet seem even bigger. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle cooking big meals, and the Whole Foods world headquarters and Trader Joe's is approx 2 miles away. Several smaller convenience stores are blocks away.

There is a king bed with Temperpedic mattress in the master bedroom and two XL twins in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a king upon request.

Other amenities include: fresh coffee (organic local Ruta Maya) and tea fixings, washer/dryer and detergent, bath and beach towels, and a Britta water filter to keep fresh water in the refrigerator. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen.

A wonderful residential location on the Southwest side of Austin. The location is in close proximity to anything you want to do in Austin. The hosts are accommodating and communicate well. I highly recommend this cozy and comfortable home.

We had a great weekend getaway as a family at the Kaleido House! It was very clean and comfortable and decorated very nicely. We have stayed in many rental properties and I believe this was one of the best we have experienced. Beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to questions. There were extra amenities provided and suggestions on what to do while we were in town which we appreciated! Can't beat the location right next to Barton Springs and beautiful Zilker Park!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was comfortable and well appointed. The managers were very easy to communicate with and more than obliging if we needed anything. Great to know you can bring your toddler and dog and have that be easy for everyone. It's a lovely area, close to the park and Barton Springs and also nice to just walk around the neighborhood. The house is so cute and so well appointed. The location is perfect and very close to Zilker Park and Barton Creek. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. And although is was hot, we spent a lot of time on the deck under that giant oak tree. ♥️ I grudgingly highly recommend this place because I don’t want you to be there when I want to. 😂

Fun time in Austin with our pups!
This property is amazing! The location can't be beat, the neighborhood was quiet and the property itself is well appointed, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hosts were so helpful! We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this one had EVERYTHING we could need! The shaded front porch was a comfortable place to relax even in 100 degree heat! We took our dogs to "Barking" Springs which is just below Barton Springs pool and they had so much fun splashing in the cool water. We hiked in the greenbelt area and we enjoyed some of the wonderful food Austin is famous for. We will be back and Kaleido House is where we will stay!
