"We loved our stay here! Definitely want to return to stay at this onsen. We were greeted at check in with a sweet gift for our honeymoon it was so thoughtful! We loved arashiyama and the convenience of how walkable our hotel was to both stations and the town. The beds are so comfortable the room we stayed in was spacious. We loved how traditional this hotel was tatami mat floors and all. The best part was the onsens, we both have tattoos and loved that they had 5 different private onsens to choose from. In the evening dinner-10pm it stayed pretty busy so we opted for early morning soaks and all were empty between 5-7am. Perfect way to start our day. 10/10 stay at this hotel when we come back to kyoto we plan to stay here again! "

"Hotel room is huge and comfortable, very clean, so convenient as there’s a link bridge to Umekoji-Kyotonishi subway, just one stop to Kyoto station. Second floor Issunboushi restaurant serve first class Wagyu beef, with discount to hotel guests."

"Excellent place to stay in Kyoto! We love the onsen and extra amenities ( ice cream and late night ramen). The breakfast is the best with variety of Japanese and western options. I will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to my friends. "

"We are repeat visitors to the RHIGA hotel in Kyoto. We love that the hotel is close to Kyoto Station but not too close. Staff are very efficient and friendly. The bell desk staff were very helpful arranging takyubin for our larger pieces of luggage to be transported to the RHIGA hotel in Osaka. Housekeeping staff were friendly and very thorough in freshening up our room each day. We love the breakfast buffet on the first floor and have stayed at this hotel enough to know when the restaurant is not as crowded. I would like to see the complimentary shuttle bus hours expanded to start earlier than 9:00 am and ending later than 7:00 pm. Several hotel guests mentioned the same issue, wishing that the shuttle bus hours were expanded. Still a great place to stay and we always recommend this hotel and the RHIGA hotel chain to our friends traveling to Japan."
